Open Weather Map app using Quasar and Electron for Web/Windows/Mac/iOS and Android


This is a weather web/mobile/desktop app for Mac/Windows/Android and iOS devices. To make development of web component faster I used.

  • Quasar UI
  • VS Code with Extensions
  • open Weather map API
  • Open GEO location

The app will let you search for city and locate weather data using openweathermap API . For user location app use device location information. The app may not work with some desk/mac (Electron app) in such case it will utilize the the ofree-geo-ip for fetching current location ( coordinates )
